Wendy A. Goldman
Forthright. Instinctive. Only mildly outrageous. Producer Wendy A. Goldman knows a great story when she hears one and a great script when she reads it. She possesses an instinct to recognize raw potential and has the moxie and know-how to capitalize on it.
Goldman was mesmerized by Broadway musicals as a child, and later studied acting at Boston University. Fast forward, and she now has credits that include Development at The Polone Company/Hearst Entertainment, where she was involved in projects including Midnight’s Child with Olivia D’Abo, Inner Sanctum with Victoria Principal, and for the Polone-Winer Company, Researcher on the mini-series JFK: Reckless Youth with Patrick Dempsey.
She was Researcher on the Showtime movie Riot, with Mario Van Pebbles and Cicely Tyson, and Assistant to EMMY-nominated director John Patterson in the productions Seduced by Madness with Ann-Margret and Peter Coyote, Deidre Hall’s Story, and See Jane Run with Joanna Kerns. She was also VP of Development at The Knight Company.
While a member of the Monterey County Film Commission Board, and lead of their Screenplay Contest, she read a riotous comedy (and winning) script by a gifted screenwriter, Baxter Taylor, whom she and her producing partner Becky Best recruited to write the screenplay THE INCORRECT MAN.
